Unfortunately, you can't find anything cheaper than the official price. It's a national park. So, the price of tours to Alcatraz are determined by the federal government.

The only place I could think of to try would be Craigslist (www.craigslist.org), but you are way better off just buying them from the park service. The trip is worth the price and you are supporting the upkeep of the place.

You can buy them for half price once you are on the island.
