could be anything from the appendix to just common round ligament pains, I suggest writing down the times they have started and stopped. if it gets worse see a doctor.

Hi. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, for the first week I was fine but for the next two weeks I had a dull pain that came and went. (weeks 5-6) It was like having a period pain that I coudn't do anything about as I couldn't take Nurofen with being pregnant. And thats all that helped me in the past. From my experience it is very normal and its just your body adjusting to being pregnant. If you are really worried then go to the doctors for some reassurance. I used a hot water bottle and that help with the pain most of the time. Good luck and congratulations

Be aware that many women experience very mild cramping, twinges and/or period-like pain, backache and sometimes unusual sensations in their lower abdomen during early pregnancy. Unless there is bleeding associated with these sensations or the pain becomes severe, it is usually related to the uterus growing and changing and generally nothing to be concerned about.
i got this off the net and thought it might help xxx p.s im 4.6 weeks and im getting cramps too, so try not to worry xxx

well you did make an appointment to see an ob right? but yes the pains in the begging are normal but they vary if you are not spotting or in tremendous pain on a constant basis you are most likely ok i cant say for certain for im not a doctor and do not have the ability to exam you not that i would have clue if i did. but the begging is almost like period cramping. Hope this helps but please see a doctor asap! just to make sure

first of all congrats. Second of all a dull pain in your stomach is normal this is the stretching of your uterus stretching. But if you are really worried call your doctor.

I am only 8wks gone and I have the same pretty constant dull cramps as my uterus moves to make room for baby. Don't worry too much unless it starts to cause you major pain.
Good luck!

It could be your uterus stretching as well...which is a pretty common pain in early pregnancy. (To me it kind of felt like period cramps) :)
Congrats!
