For an MLM / Network Marketing opportunity to work you need Affordable Products That Sell Well And Marketing Systems That Work !!

1. You need products that sell like Chocolates at Easter-Time, Toys at Christmas, Turkeys on Thanksgiving or Cold Drinks during a summer heat-wave.

2. The products must be AFFORDABLE to most people, EVERYBODY must be able to afford to buy them and the products MUST be consumable, so they generate REPEAT BUSINESS (this is SO important!)

3. You can't be asking your prospects to pay anything up-front, like an associate joining or registration fee, or be made to buy some kind of “Business starter kit”. (That’s a No -No!)

4. The business system, support system and marketing plan must be SO SIMPLE and is MUST BE very EASY TO FOLLOW, so that even a complete novice should be able to generate healthy, on-going, weekly earnings within just a few short months

Not good. There's a reason that MLM has a bad reputation - most people involved with these operations find out they're usually scams. You can tell if an MLM is a scam by certain tell-tale signs:
1. Is promoted as a way to get rich quick?
2. Is the emphasis on getting a cut of the next tier's sales rather than the simple business arithmetic of selling the product?
3. Is the product irrelavent to the pitch? and are the details of specifically what the product is relegated to the small print.
4. Are you asked to pay an up-front fee or sign a contract for the 'details' etc?

If so... run like hell.

Network Marketing Good Or Bad

Network Marketing is WONDERFUL. It is the people who get involved with dishonest intentions and lack of proper education that gives it a bad name. For instance, looking at the previous answer, it was stated that they are "usually scams". This is not true. This industry has created more millionaires than any other industry in the world. Additionally, it produces some of the most cutting-edge technology and products available for consumers worldwide.

For those who are interested in joining an opportunity such as this, I would suggest doing research in a couple of areas. First, find out if the company is a member of the Better Business Bureau. Secondly, find out what the product is/products are, if they are affordable and if they are necessary. Third, and one of the most important aspects, do research on the training systems that are in place with the company. Most people do not become successful in this industry because they bring all of their habits from their traditional income-earning ways and lifestyles into the new opportunity. If someone was not successful in ALL areas of their life previously and joins a company and tries to do things the same way they were doing previously, they won't be successful in Network Marketing either.

It is not the vehicle that makes a difference. It is a new distributor being different that makes a difference. Training is the key! A successful network marketing company will emphasize personal development as a key aspect because that is the true secret to success.

For those who say these opportunities do not work, they are correct - for themselves. Whether you say you can or you can't, either way you are right.

BTW, this business is just as legitimate as any other. McDonald's ask for a fee to buy a franchise but no one questions it's legitimacy. We offer the same privileges as McDonald's with less overhead. Besides, most people take advice from people who are in the same situation as themselves. MISTAKE! Seek advice from someone who is where YOU WANT TO BE, not where you have been. Success leaves clues, but so does failure. Look at those who are successful and do what they do. Look at those who are not successful and do the opposite of what they did...

To your success!

Good. This is a business that any ordinary man can achieve an extra ordinary income. Of course, the product must be good, consumable with repeatable sale and the compensation plan must be good. Many have achieved financial and time freedom and good health after involving in it. But the most important is you must coachable.

Everyone is facing risk in their life. If you are the only bread winner and something serious happened to you, how your family is going to live? But, if you are in MLM and have already built up your network, your spouse can continue your business and getting income. Do you prefer to use 100% of your effort or the effort of 100 people each contributing 1% to achieve an income? If each of them is contributing more than 1%, how many times will your income be? You can build your network into thousands and tens of thousand of people. That's why many top leaders can achieve incomes many times more than what their traditional jobs can give them.
