Oh Its good to get it off your chest aint it....Oh you have to be sooo sooo PC on this site!!! To the point that you cant ask a question with out some homosexual, slightly tanned, religous or Mary Whitehouse do gooder type reporting you. Which in turn earns you a violation notice from Yahoo! When you get one of those all you want to do is get a hold of them and shove there PC's up there bum sideways for being so narrow!

no its not racist. I dont like having to speak to a foreign person who can't understand me and I can't understand them every time there's a problem with my utilities or bank - I end up being on the phone for ages and having to ring back until i speak to an English person. It's not racism at all - I have nothing against these people, I just can't understand a word they say

I have come to the conclusion that the definition of racist is 'white person'. Even if you don't say a word you can be branded a racist for not talking to a person of another race. Don't let it get you down though as it's only a word and most people who use it are quick to judge morons anyway.

It's interesting that so many who label others "racists" end up doing the exact same thing they accuse others of doing: they classify one person with the word "racist" based on one characteristic. Know that everyone has their faults, and only give heed to the answers that are given with the intention of helping you in your situation.

i work with a guy and i cant understand him i told him "sorry but my hearing isn't the best" ( which it isn't) "and you talk to quickly " so he takes it easy round me and leans towards my ear and it helped alot. you just didn't need to say he was foreign that was were the racism comments come into play but i understand you .
I didn't think like that only pointing out where i can i see how you got them .

You are NOT a racist, if you can't understand what they are saying then you have every right to say so. Are you the ONLY person who has found this problem ? I think not.

It's only racist if people want it to be.

i dont know what your other question was - however I can tell you that I also get frustrated by dealing with people who cannot understand me properly and vice versa due to their accent and understanding of the english language. I much prefer to deal with someone who i can understand regardless of colour and nationality - its just frustrating to speak to someone for AOL for instance, to have them talk to you and you not being able to understand what they say!!

I know the feeling! I wish people would just wind their necks in! It goes back to not being able to have an opinion or freedom of speech anymore! Pathetic!
