Everyone I know, shares the driving when they are sharing the custody. The one who I have actually seen the court papers, states they share the driving. There is no reason it should all be on one person. If it's not in the papers, I would say have it added. It's only fair for the other person to share in the responsibility.

well, depending on your state and custody rules....

But usually it goes that both parents drive the same amount to pick the child up if there is alot of distance between them.........

But if there is not much distance then the court usually has the parent who doesnt have the child all the time pick the child up....

I would go back to the courts an have it state that both parents are to drive equal amount to pick and drop the child off...

It is suppose to be in your divorce paper work; how the picking up and dropping off will be handled. If it is at a distance you can even have it set that you meet each other half way. There is no rule saying one parent or the other has to do all the driving.

Try to work it out between the two of you, if that doesn't work oyu may need to go to an atty.
