I totally know what you mean. My friend has been doing my hair for almost 9 years now and I'm SOOOO not feeling her anymore. She "cuts" my hair and that's it, she doesn't bother to try any type of new style with me anymore. Luckily she's going to school for another career and she's cutting way back on her hair styling business, so that's going to be my OUT !!!! Haha

I have been using one hairstylist for a while now she relaxes and treats my hair well but is not very up to date with the styling part.

I did have a hairstylist who knew me and my life very well, but then I moved so I'm shopping around for the "right" one

No one but no one cuts my hair but my hair dresser. She will change my hair style from time to time. She listens to what I want. I am sure if you told your hair dresser you want a change she will work with you.

Change is good but so is habit. Inherently we are creatures of habit but if you see a style that will complement your face and your lifestyle then by all means, change up.
