I have a lifetime backstage pass for a concert and everytime the star comes to time my so-called friends start to be nice to me so that i will take one of them with me! for one year i was'nt aware of this cause i really thought that they were my friends, and i took a few of them a couple of times, but for a while now i've been on to them. the concert is coming up on march 23rd and low and behold here comes the phone calls from jerks that i have'nt heard from in almost a year..".hey girl when are you coming out to play?, when am i gonna see you again? it's been too long"!what do i say to just send them back under the nearest rock without being to harsh?

Tell them to get a life. They're USING YOU! I bet they don't give a damn about this friendship thing and they just want to get into the concert. Give this ticket to a friend who is actually a friend and actually bothers to talk to you!
Honestly, I hate it when people do that to me. So annoying

I would tell them 'Oh my gosh, you know I hadn't heard from you in almost a year...I had NO IDEA that I'd ever hear from you again! Sorry but I am taking someone else to the concert. But it was nice hearing from you again though-take care!" And politely hang up on them! They'll probably get the hint and not even bother calling you next year. And if they do, go ahead and be harsh-they deserve it for being stupid and selfish! LOL Enjoy the concert!! BTW-Who is going to be at the concert????

First of all, you can't call them friends! They are USING you, big time! I'm glad you have finally opened your eyes!!! The solution is very simple: whenever one of these 'jerks' calls you, simply tell him that the place has been occupied, and you're taking someone else to the concert, so there's no use in 'LOVING you so much' !!!

Yeah they are using you...my best friends Kathy is a star and people try to use her all the time... she has yelled at people to stay away from her b.c she knows that they are only using her... she even asked me a few times to help get her out of places b/c of it!!! sooo tell them off and get some new good friends

Either tell them you aren't planning on going to the show, or tell them you can only take X amount of people in with you and you've already asked your actual FRIENDS to join you.
