I'm not sure what you're asking. A miscarriage to me is the loss of a baby. But, as far as connecting with another person I know just what you mean. While I am happily married to my current husband and the father of my children, I still feel connected to my first husband. How do I deal? I haven't spoken to hubby no. 1 since I started dating this one. I still think of him but I try not to dwell on it. I put more energy into my marriage. And I find that as time goes on, the other person fades more and more into the background of my life.

Oh so now having a miscarriage is like buying a goldfish together and then finding it floating belly up? You have some special bond together because you stupidly created a baby out of wedlock and then things didn't work out and now you want to move on without the guilt?
