Hi There,
I am at nine weeks. I am wearing maternity pants because they are more comfortable and more healthy for the baby. It is not good to have anything tight, even a little tight. Give your baby room!

I started wearing maternity pants at around 8 weeks because my other pants were just a little too tight. I figured it made more sense to buy maternity clothes than regular clothes in a bigger size that would only fit for a month anyway. I got the kind with the elastic waist, they looked like regular pants but I had more room. I wore those until about 25 weeks, when I started only being able to wear the pants with the big panel.
I didn't buy any maternity shirts until about 16-17 weeks, when my other shirts started riding up and showing my belly. I wish I had bought bigger shirts then, because I've just had to buy more as I got bigger.
I think you should start wearing maternity clothes whenever your other clothes are uncomfortable. They will only fit for a few months, so get your money's worth and wear them as early as possible!

I'm 23 weeks and 4 days and I started wearing maternity clothes at 21 weeks. I bought a pair of jeans and I love them. Last weekend I bought a pair of black pants, they are sooo comfy, and a few shirts. I love wearing maternity clothes because it shows that you are pregnant and not just gaining weight plus it keeps everything nice and firm especially when you have a little extra pounds lol (which I did, now it's mostly belly). Anyways, I would suggest wearing it whenever you feel comfortable because when you're pregnant, being comfy is very important.

It really just depends on the person. I was only 110 pounds when I got pregnant with twins so I was really small and I didn't have to start wearing maternity until I was about 24 weeks and even then I didn't have to. I just wore bigger sizes in longer shirts and I actually wore my regular jeans all the way through, I just wore them low under my belly and I went past due with twins and they were decent size babies. But it really does just depend on the person, if you're getting uncomfortable in your regular clothes then you move on to maternity. Just don't spend a ton of money on them because you really won't wear them for long, but Motherhood Maternity usually has great prices and really cute things. There bras are absolutely the best for your money especially if you plan to nurse after you have the baby.

I am 16 weeks pregnant now, and i fluctuate between maternity and my regular clothes, some stuff fits fine, i can still wear my jeans.. just real low under my belly, but i like to wear the maternity tops because, A. the cover more, and B. They make me feel better, like im actually pregnant, and not just fat!!!

I'm 15 weeks and sometimes I feel like I should be wearing maternity. It's so frustrating being between sizes. When you outgrow your clothes just get maternity. Everyone grows at a different time.

Oh yeah. I wore maternity clothes very early. I instantly noticed changes in my size so I would say around 16 weeks I made the switch. One reason being is through my whole pregnancy I haven't been able to stand snug pants at all, just way to uncomfortable. You will hear stories of women who wore their own jeans through their whole pregnancy, but there is no way I could stand to do that. Like I said comfort is key and maternity clothes are much cuter than they use to be.

Yes, when I was 3 months pregnant with my daughter I could barely fasten my jeans, so I started wearing maternity clothes not long after that. I am 7 weeks pregnant now and already getting bigger.
