What is the difference between the Green Goblin and the Hob Goblin?

This is Spiderman stuff of course. Does Harry become the Hob Goblin or another Green Goblin. Also, who was more powerful, the G.G. or the H.G. ?

In the comics, Norman Osbourne was the Green Goblin and later Harry also became the Green Goblin to take vengance on Spidey. Hobgoblin was a mercenary who stole the Green Goblin technology from Osbourne Industries, modified it, and became a villian for hire and a master thief. Later, Hobgoblin was taken over by a friend of Peter Parker's, Ned Ullrich, who was a reporter at the Daily Bugle. Both fought Spidey numerous times. Hobgoblin had stronger weopons, but Green Goblin (both) were fueled by a hatred of Spidey and thus, were more deadly. Green Goblin killed Peter Parker's 1st girlfriend Gwen Stacey. In the movie, from clips I have seen, Harry looks to be Green Goblin but may be called Hobgoblin. The original Hobgoblin costume was orange while in movie clip, Harry was in the green suit.

The original Green Goblin was Norman Osborn, and in the comics he is the current Green Goblin again. The second Green Goblin was his son, Harry Osborn. There were other Green Goblins but those two were the most important ones. The original Hobgoblin was Roderick Kingsley, and I guess he is the one still most associated with Hobgoblin. He was a wealthy fashion designer but also a criminal, and he used the Green Goblin's technology to become the Hobgoblin. The Green Goblin came first, and the Hobgoblin came later, but in the 90s cartoon, I think the Hobgoblin came first and the Green Goblin came later, which is a bit odd, but the cartoon made a lot of little changes that didn't alter the mythos too greatly in the grand scheme of things.
