They don't want to be you. It's the culture, not the color. Just like some BLACK people are Buddhist like the INDIANS. And some WHITE people are MUSLIM. And some REPUBLICANS are closet DEMOCRATS.
Get a grip on reality and ask questions that make sense.

There are many black people that I've seen that are whiter than pure snow ( not literally of course but i figured i had to explain this to you since your english is equivalent to my 5 year old sister's ). Dont ewe dayer bee raysist?

Some people are prejudiced and hate your race(i am not a prejudiced person). Other people try to fit in or just like your style of clothing and music.

You are not going to like my answer, but here it goes.
White people are tired of racism, plain and simple. If the white people had white colleges they would be racist, yet here in america we have 48 black only colleges. If white people had a NAAWP, same as the NAACP for blacks, the white people would be called racist. If white people had a Miss White pageant, they would be considered racist, yet black people have a Miss Ebony pageant. If the white people had WET, same thing as BET but for white people, white people would be called racist. I could go on and on about the racism in america that the blacks and others never seem to see.
We as white people have bent over backward for other racist, to make them more comfortable here in america. Atleast you could do is stand up as a minority and say "Hey I agree with you, we need to change, we are the racist race, not the white people" Once you do that in church on Sunday and you get the support of your congregation, take this to other churches, get their support and lets make some changes here for the betterment of all americans.
White people don't try to be like you, we simply want to fit into a culture you created for us white people to live in. But I am sure you don't see it that way. I would be curious to hear your thoughts on this.

I'm white and to me you are no different than anyone else, just another human being, black, white, yellow, big, small - all the same to me. And I certainly have no desire to be 'black' I'm happy enough the way I am.

As far as mainstream culture is concerned, "black" is cool. Black meaning, not a colour, but a state of being: what music you listen to and what you wear, and don't forget the accent. People who think they have nothing of their own to offer, try to embody this coolness, meaning, blackness. You should concentrate more on who you are as a person and less on who you are as a black person. Self-segregation is just another form of segregation. Power to the people... All of them. May they not act stupid.
