In the US, it's against federal law. It's also against state law in most but by no means all states. There seems to be a general degree of confusion on the subject, with people thinking it's legal just because there's no state law. Before you let some "friend" talk you into something, remember that states are legally subordinate to the federal law, so it isn't possible for Alaska, for instance, to make it "legal." They can only make it "not against state law."

if it's in the south of Spain its warm enough and light enough.why not if you grow outside make sure it can't be seen

Not in the UK, although it is in some countries if you are only using it for yourself and not supplying or selling it to anyone else.

Unfortunately....It is illegal..
The US govt. has a massive employment program
known as the "War on Drugs" which requires marijuana
and other drugs to be illegal in order to have a justification
for this war ( employment program )
