Too right they should be punished.

Both clubs should have a life time ban from the European Championship.

The amount of money players/clubs get paid is pathetic and the players are far too often throwing there teddies out of there cots.

They need to be used as an example to other players/clubs and fined/punished very very heavily.

Well I would like to mention that Valencia were the ones to kick everything off. After the whistle blew, Marchena started making fun of Burdisso in Spannish. Unfortuently for him there are 11 players from Inter that can speak Spannish. Also if you watch the video of the brawl you can see Marchena kicking Burdisso. That is why Burdisso got angry.

Then the Inter players were trying to cool down Burdisso as just then the idiot from the Valencia bench came and punched Burdisso in the nose and started to run away. I felt good when Cruz, Cordoba, Toldo, Figo, Maicon and Cambiasso started going for Navarro, it showed that the Inter players care for one another. And again if you watch the video again you can see Navarro running off the pitch with a big smile on his face. In my opinion Valencia are too blame.

Also I dont know if any of you heard but the Inter bus was being pelted with rocks by the Valencia fans AND there were banners all around the stadium with the word "Vendetta" which means revenge. This goes against the fair play rule.

Nothing. Footballs a physical game where tempers will run over, you have to except that. If you take the passion out of the game, your are left with nothing. Its why we never win anything at international level, cos kids at schools nowadays are tought that losing isnt a bad thing, and to play friendly.
Rubbish - you lose the physicality and the competition then its not ever worth playing.
If I was a manager of a top team i'd be glad that winning and battling for my team, was the attitude that the players had, instead of not being bothered and taking the wage packet.

Ban them from European competitions for the next 4 years because if they were from the English league they would be.

Its disgraceful how easy these non-English teams get off when it comes to the bad parts of the game. UEFA should look at themselves and get rid of their anti-English bias.

Put them in a ring and make them fight properly. The sight of one guy hitting the other and running away was ludicrous. He deserves a hiding for that. Think the blame lay mainly with the disgruntled Inter contingent.

i think both clubs should be thrown out of the competition for a year or so. that goalkeeper should be banned from football for at least 2 years. cantona kicked a guy and got a year and a half. that goalkeeper punched him so sweet that it could hav done some damage.
