I did a diagnostics check on my HDD and it came back with a Code 7 error what does this mean where can i find info about it

Is this an Dell Optiplex computer?

If it is, call their tech support and they'll send you a new one if it's under the warranty. It means there are bad tracks/sectors on the drive.

replace your hard drive. Error Code 7 or return code 7 means the hard drive failed its self-test and needs to be replaced. Also means that the Hard Drive has bad tracks or sectors.

Yea, we would have to know what diagnostic program you used to get that code error.
