I'm planning a bachelor party for August or September and I'm considering either Jamaica or the Bahamas. We'll have between 15-20 people and are willing to spend some cash if necessary. Has anyone ever done a bachelor party in either place? Any success stories or ideas for fun things to do? Specific Bars, Clubs and Restaurants would be great.

Jamaica has the Hedonism resorts- I, II & III. Need I say anymore?
Nev went to the wrong hotel, because as far as I know, Most of our resorts ( Sandals, Beaches and many, many, many more) have tons of activities to keep you entertained for your whole stay. Oh, and am I to assume that only Jamaica has poverty? as far as I now everywhere has it, including yours, Nev, get over yourself.

You may already know this but Spirit Air has 1 cent flights for September 18 and 19 for Jamaica and Bahamas.

Jamaica at Hedonism DEFINATELY. I've been there 7times now. It's definiately the party spot. True I would not go off the resort to party...however once you get there you would not want to leave. Another good option..which would be less expensive would be Cancun at the Blue Bay Getaway.

The Bahamas is your best bet only because the fun things to do in Jamaica are mostly outside and since august - September is hurricane season, you may run into weather problems and the bah mas has plenty of all inclusive resorts and hotels that have many many things to do on the premises. I love Atlantis, best hotel on the island, probably the best hotel in carribean. If you can afford it you should splurge and go, its a vacation you can't forget.

come to Jamaica you will have a great time, i live in Jamaica all my life and i have never been bored.

Do not go to Jamaica. I've been there. The hotel was wonderful, the food great but it was so boring! Plus all these poverty stricken people outside the hotel. And their houses. And the shopping is AWFUL. Go to Bahamas. To Abaco.

You can rent cottages there, there are bars, restaurants, and you can go to a deserted island for a day in a boat.

Don't listen to those other assholes about Jamaica, jamaica is great.You can go on the north coast, to Ochi,Mobay or negril.www.go-jamaica.com or google it.
