I go to a professional to have mine threaded. They do the BEST shape and then all I have to do is the upkeep of tweezing whatever is growing back. You will be amazed at the difference!
Threading is better than waxing because waxing will pull the skin area and actually heat and burn the skin...threading simply removes the hair. In the long run, the skin around your brows will benefit from the gentler procedure.

Shape:
To start, study your brows to determine whether they are already an attractive shape. They should have a soft arch above the outside edge of the cornea of your eye. Eyebrows should be of a natural thickness. They should be wider at the inside, tapering to thin at the end. If your brows are heavy, tweezing them to a slightly more narrow shape will make your eyes appear larger. Be very careful at this step. Going too far can create pencil-line thin brows. This look can be very harsh and aging and should be avoided.
The reshaping process can be frightening and you may not know where to start. In that case, pay a visit a professional to have your eyebrows shaped for the first time. Even naturally straight brows can be given a slight arch with proper shaping. Then, every day or two, you can tweeze any new stray hairs that pop up. This will help keep your brows in shape so that you may be able to wait 2 or 3 months before returning to have them professionally reshaped.
Suggestions:
Are your brows short? Discover the best length for your eyebrows by using this formula. Use a comb or other straight object to form an imaginary line from (A) the outside corner of your nose, to (B) the outside corner of your eye. Your eyebrow should extend to point (C). You can lengthen them with a little powder eye shadow or very light, feathery strokes of an eyebrow pencil.

OK, Line a pencil up with the nostril and the corner of your eye. Let pencil extend to browline. That is where the eyebrow should end. Pluck hairs below, not above, brow. Also, pluck between brows to avoid the "unibrow" look. Don't over tweese. The natural look is always better.

There are professionals for a reason....go get them waxed one time and than you have a shape to follow when they start to grow back...or you can go to any beauty store and they have stencils that you can get and place on the brow to pluck around.

Honey, mine were the same way years ago, so I started to shaving them off, except for the corner's by the eyes, and now I just simply buy eye pencils, that match my eyebrow color, and draw them in!! Guys like them and it makes me feel much more attractive.. And its so easy, anyone can draw them in.. You just have to make sure you arch them where the iris of your eye is.. and not to make them so long past your eyes, that you look like an old lady, you know.. I would just go and get a maybeline eye pencil and sharpener, and shave them off, and get a "Whole New Look" about you!! Its fun!! And very attractive looking!! All my friends growing up do it, and all of my sister's my MOM, everyone I know does it.. But then, we're all from the "Big City" wher everyone there drew there's in, that we knew of anyway!!! But, make sure you keep the corners where your nose is.. Keeping that part, makes them look more "Realisitic!!" You know.. Have Fun, hun!!! Good Luck to you! Smile!

Go to a salon and have them waxed. They'll find your shape. Brows are not for amateurs, I leave mine to the pros!
