I heard that sony was going to stop making playstation 2 games because the ps3 came out, is this true? I hope not.

nope in the egm FEB issue it says they will not stop making ps2 games and they expect it to continue for years

No - while the ps2 is still in production, and is still the highest selling console, sony and all other game makers will continue to make ps2 games. Once the ps2 goe out of production then you'll see the number of new ps2 games drop off. I'd guess that there will be new games released for at least a year yet, before the ps3 becomes the norm!

Sony has likely already stopped making video games for the PS2. third party builders are easily nonetheless making video games for it, yet I assume which couldn't very last more than yet another year.

As far as we know right now they are stopping production of the movies for PSP. I don't know about if PS2 is going out =(. I hope not!

i imagine eventually they will just like they did with the PsOne but for all we know they may continue production of the PS2 games....we can only hope!!
