Don't know if you watched it, but a while ago there was a Celebrity Big Brother on TV, and Germaine Greer was one of the people in the house. She left fairly quickly. I had met her the month before and she had told me that she had been asked to go on that programme, and asked me what I thought. I said no. But the thing is, if she had stayed she would have got £40,000 which would have been enough to keep her bit of rainforest in Australia going for a year. So what are other people doing it for?

Personally I find BB boring and it lowers the contestant's morality. In the end, I don't think the BB contestants get nothing out of their experience, except for bad publicity. The game objective... maybe to just be yourself, although viewers may find it weird and disturbing.

In fact, BB producers are making money from people suffering (think back to CBB!)! Pathetic...

I hate it. I think it is totally pointless and stupid. What exactly is the game objective indeed? To see who can get the most people to like them and vote for them! im sorry but anyone who is sad enough to be watching it and phoning up with extortionate phone charges to vote for sad people who want to hog the limelight, then they really need to get out more!

I don't like it, and I don't watch it. The purpose is to keep the viewers entertained by watching the lives of other people, without having to write a script. I don't want that on TV, I see things like that in real life, to entertain me put some effort and write a clever script.

It depends on the "Participants" as to whether I like it or not and the original idea was an experiment into the human psych by way of putting a group of strangers into a confined space to see how they interacted!

LOVE Big Brother. It is kind of like Survivor, only locked up in a house instead of deserted on an island. I love to watch how sneaky and manipulative people can be!! (Dr. Will and Mike Boogie ROCKED!!!)

well, I've never actually seen the show, but have read 1984...if anyone has read this awesome novel, they know what I'm talking about...the game, i assume is that whatever you do within closed doors or whatever is being watched...you're every move is being watched through double-sided glass or through tv monitors...read the book and you'll get a better understanding of what the hell i'm talking about...lol
