No! Impeachment is not conviction. It is indictment. That allows a trial to go ahead. Indictment can't be pardoned.
If Libbey is CONVICTED, Bush can pardon him, and probably will.
There is too little time left for Bush to be removed from office. He will be out, by law, on 20 January 2009. End of story. It would take longer than that to impeach and convict him.

To answer this question, look at Bill Clinton: he WAS impeached, and still was able to give Presidential pardons. So, yes, even if Bush were impeached, he could still pardon Scooter Libby.
Hope this is helpful.

Sure if he did something to get impeached for like Clinton did as long as he was not removed from office. Clinton WAS impeached, but the Republicans in control didn't feel the need to remove him from office. It's funny though. Clinton committed the same crime that Louis Libby did, which is perjury, and didn't serve any prison time. Sandy Berger committed an act of treason, and he too did not serve any prison time. What gives?

He will not be impeached, even if it sounds good, Because if they wanted to, by the time they all got through, with everything, his time in office would be over with,.....And Clinton, he didn't, do anything that at least half of the old guy,s, up there in Washington have not done, You know Political groupies, That,s called Fringe Benefits,.....And yes Bush can Pardon him.

The impeachment movement is just a urban legend in the web realm. Politically and Congressional law for one, there isn't any. But if it makes you feel good, keep believing.
Pardons will happen no matter who is president so let it go turn on Keith Olberman and log on to Moveon.org.

Yes he can. Impeached only means you have been indicted, not that you have been thrown out of office. If he is only impeached, he can still do whatever he wants. He'll pardon Libby in the last months of his term.

Your impeachment movement will end like most movements....with a flush.
It is foolish to think you can even come close to Impeachment...YOU DO NOT HAVE THE 2/3 vote in the Congress to do it....put your tinfoil hat back on and go back to hiding under your Mommy's bed..that way you can avoid the black Helicopters that monitor you.

I doubt Bush will be impeached. The majority of the Democrats haven't relinquished their ability to reason, and they will remain aware, unlike their drooling compatriots, that there is nothing to impeach Bush for.
Yes, we've all heard the charges offered by the deranged left, but in every single instance, there is no proof, no evidence, no likelihood of it being correct. All they have is their irrational hatred and delusional paranoia that Bush is somehow a criminal.
That doesn't cut it in the sane world.
