I like it because they are helping, but hate it because then I can't find where they put everything!

I love it. Some of the best conversations I've had with dinner guests have been over a hot soapy sink of dish water. My father-in-law and I used to love to do dishes together after a big family dinner. We used to have great heart-to-hearts. Sadly, he passed last August and doing the dishes just hasn't been that much fun since.

No one should ever be allowed into the kitchen except for the ONE person who uses it most- that is who has the right and need to know where everything is. I hate it when anyone else handles anything else in my kitchen- hubby will leave milk out on the counter overnight, or put the lid to the casserole dish on top of the crockpot so that I hunt and hunt for the casserole dish lid, never noticing it on the crockpot or stack all dishes together without regard for size or.......................

I like to pamper my guests, but if it's family. I love hanging out in the kitchen with my sisters and nieces. Men are not required, that's where be bi*ch about them

I guess I'd hate it because I like tidying up by myself so I can keep everything organized.

I don't like it, and I don't let them help. It's just because I don't think that they should have to help if I've hosted the party. Plus, when the party's over, I just want them to leave.
