Yes I would save the world every day and twice on Sunday. No recognition needed.

I'd do it if once saved, people would actually sort themselves out for a change instead of going back to the same routine. My saving the world would require a new world order to be established afterwards.

Would the world be saved by someone else if I didn't? I wouldn't really want everyone to die. If no then I would have to I suppose, but if someone else was going to save it if I didn't, I would pass the responsibility.

Yes to the first part, but it would have to be an altruistic act.

I wouldn't save it as it is. But if it changed...maybe, depends on the changes. I'd do it anonymously.

To answer that question, allow me to quote Maynard:
"And I'm praying for rain
I'm praying for tidal waves
I wanna see the ground give way.
I wanna watch it all go down.
Mom please flush it all away.
I wanna see it go right in and down.
I wanna watch it go right in.
Watch you flush it all away."
