I just had my baby 3 weeks ago and her imbilical cord is fixing to fall out it looks like.. But it looks really gross and painful when I life it up to clean underneath it.. like whiteish pus.. Is this normal? She dosen't cry when I clean it

Clean it as much as possible and several times a day with a cotton q-tip. I would do this at every diaper change. When you give your baby a bath do you immerse it in the water? That could help clean and dry it up as well. The cord should fall off within days. If you are really worried, make an apt with your dr. Enjoy your little one!

it should look gross but not puss looking thing you should call well actually go to the ped. ask them if thats normal.my babys was gross looking but not looking like puss
