Another country has nukes or something like it, but its perfectly fine for us to have them?

Because unlike certain countries we have not made it our stated mission statement to wipe ISrael or another country off the map (like Iran has). Also places like Iran have vowed that they will destroy the US. We do it for our safety, we have been playing police with the world and we have a lot of enemies, and just like a cop you dont want the criminals having weapons bigger than yours. The difference is we are not bad people and only use those nukes when tehre is a necessity, Iran plans on using them to destroy in cold blood.

Well, obviously if I had nukes, I know what I will do with them. If someone else has them I have no idea what they'll do with them. So obviously I'd be concerned about other groups having nukes. This is a perfectly valid concern and very logical. It just becomes hypocritical to demand they not develop nukes while my group retains our's.

The people that are seeking them now (Iran, North Korea) are unstable, and hate us. They might sell a nuke to a terrorist.
Yeah, we probably do hate them. SO WHAT? Does that mean it's cool for them to have nukes? Do you have ANY idea how silly you sound? I'm guessing you're in junior high school. Am I right? Actually, I take that back. You spell too well to be in jr. high or high school. lol

Because we are not threatening to "wipe Isreal off the map" as Iran has threatened to do. These other countries are using their nukes to threaten and terrorize the world.

Because the USA,Japan,Russia,China etc are considered civilized countries
give iran a nuke and see if they dont blow israel up.
I don't understand why israel have nukes though..the USA needs to stop all ties with them.

Everyone in the US is afraid that the other countries will actually use them and everyone else in the world knows that Americans have become too big of wussies to even think about using theirs.
