I currently do not see a candidate I would vote for on either side. The Republicans seem eager to sell the country to Mexico and the Democrats would do that and also seem eager to destroy the economy with higher taxes and giving the USA a defeat worse than Vietnam.

Since you asked the question of who I'd want to win, I'd like a candidate who is:

Clean
Articulate
Good-Looking

hahaha, seriously though...here is what I really want:

Somebody who understands global threats, physically and economically and will act in America's best interest...not kow-towing to foreign interests.

Somebody who will secure the ports and borders as much as is reasonable

Somebody who will decrease government involvement in our lives

Somebody who will decrease the government taxation burden on us

Somebody who actually believes the USA is the best country on earth, and believes in our constitution and will defend it.
....

yes, I'm more of a Libertarian

I want John McCain as the next president. I am sure who ever the winner is that he will most likely be Republican. The primary Democrat candidates are a black man and a woman. While I have nothing against that, I don't think that America will vote one of them as president any time soon.

Any Democrat. The last decent Republican was Lowell Weicker.
