Questions to open. If you mean which of the two characters are normally stronger than the other, it would be Superman. Superman has the strength to move the planet out of it's axis. Something that would require a good bit more than the 100 tons the Hulk can normally lift. The Hulk does get stronger as he gets madder, but I'm sure there would be an upper limit to this strength. Besides, in their encounter (Marvel vs DC, you really should check this out), the Hulk hit Superman and knocked him back across the river. When Superman flew back, he said "Caught me by surprise that time, but now I'm ready for you. When I don't want to be moved, there's not a force on this planet that can move me." The narration continued the theme "Fists that can shatter mountains pummel the man that moves planets'. Answer enough for you?

I would definitely have to say that the Hulk is the stronger of the two, since the Hulk's strength is limitless, and directly relative to his rage. It's also unknown if there are any limits to the stamina of the Hulk. Superman's energy reserves can become depleted, which would force him to go into a death like coma while his body repaired itself and recovered it's stores of solar energy. If the two of them had to go head to head, I'd give the edge to The Hulk.
Superman is too much of a good guy to be able to win this fight. He'd be too worried about collateral damage or civilial casualties to be able to put all of his effort into the fight. The Hulk is no longer restrained by any such sensabilities. He's no longer a hero, the only thing he respects or understands is power. He despises weakness of any kind, and would likely view Superman's desire to protect people as a weakness.

Superman. Hulk's strength may not have a limit but his anger does. Besides Superman has beaten the Hulk before.

Hulk is basically infinitely strong. He just keeps getting stronger and stronger and stronger the angrier he gets. Superman is not infinitely strong. So in pure brute strength, Hulk wins.

Superman, because he's got the strength, but he has control of his strength (something The Hulk occasionally lacks)

Clyde, you forgot to continue with that narrative. It also says that with each passing second the Hulk gets more angry and stronger to the point where the "contest is in doubt".
Superman destroys the sonic emitter that Dr Doom sent buzzing around his head to calm him down before kryptonite became the second biggest green fear in Supes life.

If by strong you are refering to only physical stregnth then it is the Hulk. However if you mean total stregnth both physical and mental Superman wins by a landslide.
