Can, or should, an 'avatar' have Proper Authorial Moral rights?

Question

If you are posting 'works' written works, on the internet, under either a 'psudeonym-psudeoname' or "Avatar" do you, should you still have full Moral Authorial Rights?

If Yes, how would/should damages in a courtroom be assessed?

If No, then why?

If you are attacked, or you attack someone who is avatared, what are the real damages? as they, or you, cannot prove damages to your reputation as anything other then an avatar.

Yes, your avatar is just a representation of your persona so you will have all the rights over it, unless expressly provided otherwise. But here, whatever you write, the copyright will go to yahoo! Inc. (see the yahoo! terms and condition) so you can't personally assert your rights.
