It's the little things that matter: He helps around the house without being asked, he opens doors for me, he takes care of me when I'm sick, he buys me flowers for no special occassion, he is there to hold me & dry my tears when I'm sad. Kisses me good morning & good night each day. He holds my hand when we're going somewhere in the car or truck. He laughs at my jokes & pats me on the butt as he passes by. He comes up to me during the day, puts his arms around me & hugs me & kisses me. These are only a few of the things that make me happiest. :))

before our marriage disintegrated, he had this uncanny ability to hone in on just what I needed at that particular moment. I am a photographer, and very difficult to be around sometimes. He was there with a hug when it was needed, flowers (picked out of my beds that I am very protective of) when I needed something bright, etc. When my world was falling apart and I did not feel like I had any control over it left, he left for the store for some Ben and Jerry's..........came back with Sirius, my labrador, when he was 5 weeks old.

Any small thing that matters, for example I lost my "mother N me necklace" that my husband bought for my son to give to me for christmas. I could not find it anywhere, but one day my husband found it ( my son got a hold of it! ) and he drove to my work and gave it to me. The thought of it was really sweet. Also for my Birthday, Valentines and Mothers day he will always makes me a card. He will buy me a gift too, he's not a cheepy but he always says that he cannot find a card that says it all...so he makes his own. Very special.

Every morning for 31 years he looks in my eyes before we get out of bed....kisses me on the nose and tells me he loves me.
It's a wonderful way to start the day.

buys me flowers for no reason, tells me I'm beautiful alll the time, loves me even when I'm a grouch, he let me go to Africa (by myself), supports me when I'm on an emotional rollercoaster, makes me healthy dinners, tells me funny jokes about certain people & things, let me buy a snake, let me have 2 of the best cats ever, takes me on nice vacations, works hard, always makes sure the bills are paid & alot of other neat things!

Let's see.....................He's always home and waiting for me when I get home from work, runs our bubble bath, gets my tea, makes dinner, makes the bed, lights the candles, writes the sweet notes, tucks me in at night, "makes" me sleep late on the weekends, irons his own clothes (and mine), buys my chocolate, is teaching me to sail, fixes everything that I break, loves my cat, washes the clothes, cleans the kitchen, takes me riding on his bike, reads to me, can build anything, cleans the cat box, picks movies for me to watch, pays the bills on time, brushes my hair, calls me just because, never asks me for anything, let's me sleep in the crook of his arm, tells me that he loves me daily, kisses the top of my head when I'm asleep, makes sure that I save money for a rainy day, loves and guides my children, encourages me to eat well, watches and talks to me when I'm sleeping- and is a wonderful, physically amazing lover too. Yes, I am blessed!

He hangs out with me all the time or sometimes even takes me to work with him to hang out with him there, I love that. Takes me out to dinner when I don't feel like making dinner. All I have is to ask him. Cleans the house sometimes to surprise me and does a good job too. He makes me feel like he wants me there in his life and that I'm important to him, it just makes me love him like crazy.

last night I was in the kitchen and from the living room he text me on my phone " I Love You". Little stuff like that, for no reason, just to let me know that he is thinking of me.
