Thrush doesn't have anything to do with your menstrual cycle, your hormones dictate when you bleed. You shouldn't leave thrush untreated, if the candidiasis goes untreated, these symptoms can lead to weight loss -- and eventually to wasting and even to death. In particularly severe cases, thrush in the mouth and throat can spread to the lungs or down the digestive tract.

It is best to treat thrush - see your doctor or clinic. Thrush does sometimes go away on its own without treatment but it is best not to leave it. But the best advice is to see doc. And no - it wont stop your period. My guess is that if it does it may be something else - always best to see doc they can give best advice/ reassurance.

Hi hun, no thrush wont stop your period but it will make you itch and itch until your hearts not content lol!!!!
If you think you may have thrush, go to the doctors and get some medication. (I know that if you live in the UK, you can get stuff from boots).
Its really common as much as it itches!

Not as far as I know unless you have neglected the infection and it has caused secondary infection further up. Never neglect any infection, thrush is easily treated from the pharmacy or doctors.

Thrush will not stop your period and if you leave it untreated it will cause a reallllllllllllll sore mouth bad enough that you won't want to eat or drink.

I don't think it will stop your period. If you don't treat it it won't just go away. Even if it seems to clear up, it will just keep coming back. You have to treat it with an anti-fungal.

No but can get sore and itchy if left.
Get an anti-fungal cream such as canestan to get rid.
Why would you want to leave it? It's a fungal infection.

No.
You will get itchier and itchier and may pass it on to your sexual partner - it's really easy to treat with 'Canesten' which you can buy at the chemist (UK) without prescription - go get it now! You'll be glad you did!
