The short answer is yes.

Details:

Paypal is accepted by many on-line retailers, as well as eBay, who now owns Paypal in case you didn't know. Look for the Paypal logo. Paypal is safe and convinient. Merchants are starting to catch on.

You can pay anyone who has a Paypal account at the main site, via their email address.

Paypal also offers a MasterCharge debit card for verified accounts. With this you can pay local retailers and anyone who accepts MasterCharge via your Paypal account. There is no charge for credit or debit purchaces, unless the place you are buying at surcharges you. You also get a cash back return on purchases. You can also use a pin to draw funds from an ATM, but there are service charges that apply.

I hope this is helpful to you :-)

Yes you can! If you run a store you can sell products using Paypal, that's what is was built for. eBay is a huge part of it because they bought out Paypal (or the other way around, not sure).

You can also send money to friends who have paypal accounts, and you can also accept donations with Paypal.

Many online merchants accept PayPal for payments on there site - you can usually see the PayPal logo displayed when they do. Any site that does not offer it's own secure checkout or shopping cart can set up to use a PayPal shopping cart. If you want to be able to accept payments online PayPal is an inexpensive and easy to use alternative to a merchant account.
