Also the law of "cause and effect" says our experience of life(effect) is a result of the choices(cause) we make. If I purchase insurance am I not "buying into" the idea that we are victims in life and there are things that happen that I have no control over. If I sow those ideas will I not then reap the harvest of those ideas?

Sowing & Reaping speaks more to the spiritual realm than secular....while you are alive be good and do good.

Insurance is an worldly reality: in some instances a requirement (auto, malpratice, home insurance) in other areas just a suggestion (life, health, renters, vacation).

I have chosen to sow well and have used auto insurance twice (minor stuff) and home insurance twice (tree limb damage).

We as humans are not that powerfull to control all things around us but just because something happened shouldn't deviate us from continuing to sow.

You will indeed reap the rewards of preparedness. Cause and effect is not always a bad thing. You must know this. I you do good, then good shall happen to you, if you do evil, then that will happen to you. Knowledge that bad will happen and being prepared for it is just another example of cause and effect. It is not necessarily that there is nothing you can do about it, it is that you know that something will happen. Even if you do nothing, the world will continue on, it won't just wait for you to do something about it. You cannot evade the effect by not doing the cause. The effect of what others do affects everyone around us, and not just us.

Yes, at least normally so. However people can feel better when they spend their money this way which I I do not qualify as normal but that is only my opinion. The point is that feeling good is more important. It is mathematical. Does the investor feel better or worse (i.e. due to thoughts about insurance)? This is based on programming from the past. Once again it is a matter of focus.

Buy insurance... You work hard = You sow. You get paid well because of your labour = You reap.
You buy the things that bring happiness to your life. Someone sees your happiness, and gets jelous. They steal your hard earned things = cause and effect.

Indemnity and cost savings - we may sow what we reap but when you reap what someone else sowed you need insurance.

i believe in the cause and effect, in so far as relationship with others, but for anything else i believe in murphy's law and preparing for the worst.anyway if you prepare for the worst and it doesn't happen, then it's a blessing, but if it happens well...... at least you prepared for it.
and it's a fact that there ARE things in life that are beyond your control, so live with it.
God bless,

If you believe that you are going to die some day you should buy life insurance. That's reality.
