That is a very good question. Watching last nights game against the Pens they were far and away the better team. That was until Staals shorthanded goal midway through the 3rd. At that point they just seemed flat. Before that point they were taking it to the Pens at all times. The only thing I can think of is that they are burning themselves out. They have to play solid hockey for a full 60 minutes, 65 with OT. If they come out too hard they are unable to continue that way and are letting other teams back in the game. They need to slow it down a bit. Just my 2 cents worth.

the sens are just too good and they know it, they play great for the first 2 and sat back and let the pens catch up, emery will rebound with a strong game next time don't worry.(the pens are playing great in anticipation for a lucrative move at the end of this season)

It is a total lapse in focus. They need to get it going. I don't want to see Lindsay Ruff coaching a team in finals.
