Does anyone eles agree that american idol is sooo boring most of the singers are average and the really good singers don't have anyt personality

The show is totally bogus. It's only a tool for rich old white men to make money. What they do is find people that they can market to the american public. They make them famous before they even accomplish anything. Once they choose a winner, they write all of their songs for them and all they have to do is sing. Anybody can do that. I have no respect for "artists" that don't write their own music. Whatever happened to working your way up to the top and actually earning fame and fortune? There are probably thousands of people out there that can sing just as well or better than the people on the show.

The contestants are over-emotional and when they sing, they try to make the audience cry with their whining and moaning. They are dry witted with no sense of humor; and who wants to be an idol anyway when there is so much more to be focused on this day and age. So that's why they are boring. I think we should seek success first and let the fame follow.

Oh yeah. It's a big snore this year.
No rockers. So I was glad to see Sundance doing something I recognized, even if it's a crappy *** song.
The only other saving grace is that Brandon is soooo cute! Just completely adorable.
The girls....I can't remember a one of them except for the skank.

I like watching it because I find it interesting how the american public thinks these people are fantastic singers when in actuality, they are very bland.
