No, you shouldn't shave your arms. For one thing, your hair will grow in darker & heavier, forcing you to have to shave for a very long time. You can get your hair bleached to make it look lighter, the sun does it naturally. Guys aren't smooth everywhere, why should women?

Ok maybe I live under a rock or something, because this whole shaving your arm hair thing is just weird to me.
Why do men get to be the no-fuss gender? Girls are always complaining how cold they are, and guys are always saying they are too warm. Have ya figured out why yet? Its the natural insulation they have, and have no social pressure to get rid of.
I say I will start waxing my arms (that aren't really hairy to begin with) when men start seriously taking care of things like neck beard and back hair. How's about plucking the hair off your toes, guys? Or the unibrow?
Until I see some major change in out of control male hairiness, I say my current beauty regimen is fine the way it is.

Shaving your arms is uncalled for. You dont need to. Even if you do have darker hair you still do not need to. Besides if you started doing it you would have to continue doing it for the rest of your life, As they would only grow back darker and thicker. When your 50 or older it is one thing to stop shaving all the time, you wear pants. What about if you didnt continue shaving your arms, you would be ways worse off then you were to begin with. Hope this helps! Good luck and Good health. men can be shallow it is something they need to work on, not us!

No way!

Shaving under your arms is a good idea, but of course it's a personal choice.

I shave my underarms, but not my actual arms, and I can safely say, I have very hairy arms, but no-one even notices, and the people who do aren't worth the time of day anyway.

I used to shave my arms as a teenager, but you have to do it EVERY day, because imagine having stubbly arms. Imagine all the friends grabbing you by the arms and feeling prickles...

And you cannot imagine how ridiculous arm stubble looks.
I'd rather be soft and fluffy than prickly any day.

I have shaved my arms in the past. I would just say that it's a lot more annoying then shaving you're legs because they aren't hidden as easily, so you have to shave like every day. I do quite often look at my arms and think I should shave them, but everyone tells me that they look a lot worse to me then to anyone else. My boyfriend says he doesn't care if I shave or not, even my legs/pits, as long as I'm not as hairy as him.

No I do not shave my arms. It seems rather foolish to me. We are mammals and we have hair. Most people have just a normal amount of hair on their arms. If I had some extremly excessive hair on my arms I might consider some kind of treatment. I have heard shaveing arms is beginning to be a trend with teenage girls. It is sad that they are trying so hard to change themselves instead of just being who and what they are. It is normal to have hair on your arms and any guy who says otherwise could probably use a few changes himself.

Are you talking about the surface of your arms or the armpits? No for the surface of your arms and yes for the armpits. But thats just a personal thing. The women in Germany don't shave their armpits or their legs. Of course they don't use deodorant either. Its really your body. You have to decide.

I do not think that it is necessary for a woman to shave there arms unless they have really long dark arm hair. I have a friend who likes to shave her arms but she does not have to, she just likes the way it feels.

I must say, I do shave my arms even though I only have very fine hair on them. I hate body hair with a passion and I shave everything except my eyebrows and head!

No women should not shave their arms. The hair would continue to grow back thicker. U u feel like u have too much hair u can instead bleach them. I don't think men really care about womens arms.
