Everything was going well until we had to take out the earrings tht she got pierced with. She got really freaked b/c I had to yank them out, they're in there pretty tight. And now, every time we have to change earrings, she throws a complete fit... she doesn't want them to grow back together but she dreads (tht is a complete understatement) putting them in or taking them out so much that I have said, we'll just let them grow back together, which, to her is devastating....

anybody know of anything to numb her ears, so I can just get some earrings in and the holes won't grow back together???

was she twirling the earring in her ear on a daily basis...that loosens up the hole and makes it slightly bigger

3 months is way to soon to have removed the earrings. Just put in some nice small diamond studs and leave them in for a couple of years instead of letting them close and then having to pierce them again later. I wore my studs from the time they were put in as an infant until I was 10 years old. I can leave them out for days or months and they don't close. A 7 year old should worry about what she's going to play next not what earrings she's going to wear with her next outfit.

Use a bacterial ointment like Neosporin it lubricates the earring and keeps the piercing clean and treated. My husbands Grandmother showed me this for my girls and it worked like a charm - they can even easily put in their own earrings using this technique. Good Luck!
