There is some resentment for ww2. But very little at most. The iraq war has added some tension.

There is more resentment for what their countries are doing. Rather than resentment for individuals that belong to that country. You wont find many on either side that is racist or prejudice.

There is a cultural difference. As germans usually want more rules, procedures and timeliness. While English people are more into justice and what's fair is fair. Seen in german civil law vs. English common law.

Since the WW2, there has been some tension. Just like the WW2 veterans feel about the Germans or Japanes. New generations, however, have sports rivalry. Does anyone know any other factors?
