It would appear our country has been hi-jacked by the United Corporations of America, as BOTH parties are nothing more than self-serving, stuff the $$$ in my pockets hypocrits.

If you read about the fall of Rome...it's when they abandoned the fundamentals by which it was founded(Douglas Macarthur also shares this sentiment when reviewing where America is starting to deviate in the 50's...and then came the 60's).

An entity which is at war with itself...is doomed.

I still believe in America...but will never trust another Mayor, Congressman, Senator, City Council, President, etc again.

Just LOOK across America...all rubber-stamped by Wal-Mart, COSCO, Home Depot, ExxonMobil, Pet'sMart...put your trust in corporate America, because that's who's running the show now.

A corporation is a form of doing business. There are economies of scale with retail - the warehousing, merchandising and other overhead functions, the buying power, the lower cost of capital - all of which ultimately benefit the consumer in the form of lower prices. While these companies squeeze out a few local or regional chains, I guess I just don't know why that upsets you - small and mid-sized businesses have performed very, very well in the last ten years, typically by finding a niche, and they really didn't treat their workers any better than Wal-Mart treats their workers - those jobs are starter jobs anyway, worked mostly by teenagers and immigrants and a few housewives working part-time. So, the consumer has benefited and nobody seems to have lost out. I suppose if you like one suburb to look different from the others you've lost out but that's how it works - the world doesn't comform to one person's ideals. My grandmother missed having fountain sodas at drugstores and mini-restaurants in department stores. I miss independent donut shops. It's important to remember that the consumers directed this allocation of resources - producers try to meet demand efficiently. Demand is what it is. Demand is the dog, supply is the tail.

Currently, the difference is Liberal (GOP) vs Socialist (DEM). Neither party has the best interests of the USA at heart. They both only see THEIR party in control running an agenda that benefits THEIR supporters' agenda. For example: the GOP is free with business rules and perks to counter the DEM's entitlement society mentality and stranglehold by the unions.

There is no difference between either party. They are both pushing the same agenda they each just sell it a little differently. It is sad and pathetic what our government has become and what the American people have let it become.

That's a tough one. They're spelled differently, but there's really not much difference.

Dems seek to build up ALL Americans

Cons seek to destroy America then rebuild it in their perverted image of what America should be.
