I really really really want to go to University of Southern California (USC), so is it possible that I can be a lawyer if I get a bachlor's degree from USC? Please tell me the steps I will need to take if I attend USC to become a lawyer, I am 100% sure I am ready to take on this career and I wish to go to USC, would USC have any classes for lawyers? Also when you guys say you have to get a bachlor's degree does it matter what college it is from and what feild?

4 years of undergrad, and 2 or 3 years of law school, plus whatever time it takes you to pass your state's bar......good career choice....good luck

look at about max of 8 years for school and passing the bar. It also depends on how serious you are about it...you have lots of choices when you get to college that you may not be ready for just leaving HS. If you make mistakes, with some of these choices, you may be looking at a longer time to get through school or study and pass the bar exam.

Parties are a big distraction with drugs, alcohol...etc. If you get involved with a girlfriend, how much time will you dedicate to a relationship, or even if you're not attached and by mistake you get a girl pregnant. All are choices you may become faced with...remember, many people have done this before, and also many people have failed. The only one who can say whether or not you will succeed is you! You are the decision maker.

If you're serious about becoming a lawyer, stay focused.

Plenty o' years, but quite frankly the fact that you're asking the question implies some divide on your decision...make sure that you're ALL in before you go ahead and spend the next "few years" of your life studying something that you don't enjoy [...and lose a lot o' money along the way]!

...i'm not knocking the lawyer career choice [because...I admit they get paid a good amount], but they spend upwards of 80-90 hrs. working - just make sure you're ALL in when you decide...ok?

...become an entrepreneur - be/do something different...at least with becoming a business owner you get to make the calls, work as much as you want, and decide what you want to make!

I do some endorsing for some major companies on the web...let me know if you want any info on how you can tap into this industry.

Well if you are foreign, the only hope you have is Affirmitive action. I would think about a community college and a less demanding career.
