we will be in orlando for a week. my husband, my mom, brother and almost 2yo daughter. we are definitely going to seaworld and the magic kingdom with my daughter. i also want to get 7 day passes to universal and at least take her to seuss landing at ioa. my husband and i would probably go to those parks alone a few times and to citywalk once or twice. but i am thinking it may be a little too much for her and us. should i get the universal passes? or do you think our trip would be better without going to universal at all?

I have two children and we visit one park a day. We also like to stay in the park we are visiting. It is very easy to just move around while your there; spending two nights in one resort and enjoying that park, then two nights in another resort and another park. Staying on property lets you take advantage of a lot of vacation extras. You can easily get out early into the parks and avoid the big crowds. When you and the kids get tired, you hop back on the monorail, or take a ferry, or a path back to your resort and relax in the pool. When your ready, you can go back to the park, just as easily.
As far as Universal, I agree with the other answerer that you can do that in a day. Enjoy Disney. There's so much to see and experience.

Universal would be fun for the 4 year old but not for an extended time. I would not get a 7 day pass for universal. I can get through the park in a day. I would rather get a 7 day pass for Disney World.

A two year old is too young to be carting around everywhere. She needs some easy time too. Try mixing in a day at the pool or park (the real kind with grass) a couple of times too.
