Often at the beginning of April there is one last blast of winter. Often just a dusting of snow. But one year ther was an ICE STORM!!! It was on the April Fools Day that April Patterson was born (Character in the comic strip "For Better or for Worse") Now April is a teenager!

i live in maryland, and i remember a couple of years ago watching the orioles play on opening day, which is usually the first week of april, and they had to play through the snow

i remember it snowing 1 time here in the south on my mums birthday the 11th of april and the flakes were as big as half dollars.but it didnt stick or last long.

It depends on where you are in the world. In the snow belt in Ontario Canada it happens all the time.
