It stinks to the skies, it does.
The pseudo-‘democratic’ neo totalitarians and socialistic sympathizers at Marvel have come out. By killing off Cap, they have declared themselves to be not Americans at all, but on the side of America’s enemies. They are hurting us all, discouraging us and taking away a symbol of our moral greatness, our true heritage, which is what made all America’s other accomplishments possible. They may try to replace Cap with some kind of vigilante, maybe even wearing his costume, but he will be a phony.
It started with Civil War. They portrayed the totalitarian moves of Tony Stark to be acceptable in time of emergency. Now, they’re going to make the emergency permanent. If they don’t bring the real, original Captain America back, they might as well declare themselves on the side of the Taliban…!
How can Stan Lee be so foolish? Has he learned nothing from history? He’s Jewish himself! He knows what happens to nations that start down that slippery slope! He’s abandoned all principles of right and wrong, and playing it only for the bucks. He has become an idolator.
Stan Lee may die wealthy, surrounded by all the comforts and luxuries that money can buy, but he is in for a pretty miserable eternity, if he keeps this up.

Captain America was killed off, but you have to understand the comic industry. Every now and then they try to kill off an icon, such as Superman back in the 90s, Green Lantern. Even Hawkeye of the Avengers was killed off in last year's "big story", and he's already back.
Captain America being killed is meant as an allegory to how the US is viewed globally now. Some form of international marketing for Marvel? Now, that's stretching it. This gives them a lot of predictable play for storylines.
From Marvel's perspective, they have several options now. Most likely they will use a few replacements, there are several candidates. The Punisher was shown looking at cap's uniform at the end of Civil War. Bucky was recently ressurected, obviously with this development in mind. Heck, even Tony Stark may don the uniform out of guilt.
He'll be back, doncha worry.

Personally, I enjoyed this issue quite a bit. This wasn't anti-American in the least. Cap took a tomato to the face, an angry mob insulting him and everything he stood for, and he still sacrificed himself to save one person from that bullet. You couldn't ask for a better way to kill an icon like Captain America. And don't worry, he'll be back soon enough.

I barely know about Captain America but its still sad that he's been written off (killed). At least it wasn't Wolverine or Nightcrawler.
