i didn't know super glue had dripped down the side of the tube when i set it on the laminate counter. now part of the white tube (and a glob of glue) are stuck to the counter permanently. any tips on getting it off????

Dried glue will often chip right off hard surfaces (use a razor blade scraper). If that doesn't work, try soaking with amyl acetate (available at drug stores).
Nail polish remover would do the trick also.(acetone)

Nail polish remover is super glues worst enemy. anything with the acetone ingredient.
