I had a reagualr vaginal deliver and trust me I am not thinking about putting anything in there for a long time but are orgasims okay to have or do you have to wait to do anything....

You should still wait those 6 weeks until your checkup. The risk of infection is still too high. Anything down in that area can still carry bacteria that can cause for some serious pain down along the line. no matter how clean the fingers, toys, tongue may be.
I have to give it to you though, one week after birth and i would be thinking more about SLEEP then trying to get my rocks off some how. lol

I did a LOT of research into this after I gave birth because the one thing I really wanted was to have sex w/hubby again ASAP. I asked my midwife, and she warned against infection with penetration of anything, but climax is ok. You might find your normal orgasm contractions are a lot stronger than usually, but hey, you're helping your uterus get back down to size!
BTW, I DID have sex w/a condom 1-1/2 weeks postpartum and never had any trouble. Just make sure hubby's hands are clean, and you two enjoy yourselves! Enjoy that baby while you're at it - the older they get, the shorter they nap so enjoy a good romp or two while you have time :D

What?? Uve in basic terms had a infant a week in the past? And ur having intercourse already? would be unable to you wait or what? all your insides attempt to circulate back in a common place and ur disturving them already? you may nevertheless be bleeding considering the fact that its in basic terms been a week. i think of you may end you may get a an infection this quickly after having your infant.
