This could be many things.. You could of just had a light early period because your last one was heavy.. and there wasn't much time between the two.. maybe u just didn't have much to expell? Also your hormones can be off balance too.. I am no doctor but i do wonder what might have been going on with your last period.. being so painful and heavy.. are you trying to conceive? if so maybe somthing was starting to develope then didn't and maybe it was a m/c and now your body is trying to reregulate itself..Sorry the last maybe is a sucky thing to think about... to bad your doc can't see u for a month.. i'd be po'ed maybe see another doc? All else fails maybe go to planned parenthood?

It is too early to test for pregnancy. An accurate result wouldn't come up until the 11th or so--using a sensitive test like Clear Blue Easy or Ept's First Response. If you don't use a sensitive test, you can't test until after the 15th. Although a small amount of spotting due to implantation bleeding is normal for pregnancy--this continuous spotting really doesn't sound like pregnancy. Have you tried visiting your local health clinic? They often can get you in on shorter notice than a gyno. I wish you the best.

it may be possible that you are just having your period early - and sometimes a period can be heavy or really light.

can you not see your gp for advice?

if you are really concerned take a pregnancy test to be sure your not pregnant.

It sounds like you have some sort of hormonal imbalance. It would be surprising if this has to do with pregnancy.
