What do you mean? Like a plan for making the same-sex marriages legal? If that's what you mean...well, the thing is that this country (no matter what anyone tells you) is not ready to even consider making SSM legal. Now, politicians raise this issue if they need to divert attention from something else; they are not really seriously considering legalizing SSM.

Unfortunately, this country is ruled by a bunch of rich religious conservatives, not to mention the entire mid-West to support this conservativism, so this country will ideologically not be ready to legalize SSM for at least another 50-100 years...

Good luck with campaigning though!

FYI: I do believe SSM should be legalized...homosexuals should have the right to be just as miserable as anyone else!

They should have all the same rights and freedoms as heterosexual couples.

I get a Little upset when I hear the argument that marriage is a union under God. I chose not to get married before God, however because it was a man-woman union is is sanctioned. To me marriage is a legal process and has nothing to do with providence.

If persons of faith would like to hold the position that Gay marriage is ungoldy and that it will diminish the meaing of thier union, perhaps we should look into givine a new marriage titled to a Church Sanctioned union.

I'd suggest a simple wedding with only a few close friends to save money. Don't have an open bar. and tossing out a garter would be in very bad taste.

Why does it need a plan? Straight marriage never did. Gay people are still people and are entitled to all the rights any people are entitled to.

I have no problem with gays getting married as long as it is to someone of the opposite sex.

If boys want to marry boys and girls marry girls, they should have to go to their own little country someplace or France.
