In Baseball there is absolutley no doubt that Ted Williams is the guy - A lifetime BA of .344, 521 HR's, an On Base % of .483 which is the best in history,

In football 100% Barry Sanders - Led the league in rushing in four different years and second in three other, has 2 of the top 5 single season rushing records, second on the all time rushing list, rushed for over 1,500 yards a record 5 different seasons. And he did all of this while only playing for 10 years, and all of those years for really bad Detroit teams/lines. I am not knocking on Emmitt Smith, imagine how much better Sanders would have been behind those Dallas lines, and would Emmitt have been nearly as good behind the Detroit line?

Marino may be the best to never win. Sanders is probably the most talented to never win one. Then the list gets long and good after that.

What about A-rod?
