I wanted to send him one of those baskets where they make the fruit look like flowers--but he only likes strawberries and pineapples.

He's not a big sports fan either. So anything sports related is out.

Please help!

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it more of a homemade feeling.

Quiet naked alone time with the wife.

That's what I ask for for anniversaries, Christmas, birthdays, arbor days, groundhog days, Thursdays....

I'm actually not kidding, there is NOTHING a happily married man wants more than feeling his wife's naked body pressed against his. You know what he likes, what turns him on, give it to him. If he gets really good wife sex, you could give him a tie and he will think it's the best gift he ever got.

Ah, the simplicity of being a man!

How bout something simple...like a nice dinner, dancing, and a hotel room that you have already decorated with roses and candles. A nice night out and away from the everyday stuff....maybe a day trip to a nice spa resort...

first of all, congrats on 12 years. i would do something creative. when he comes home from work, put a note in front of the door w/ a candle on it that says 'follow the candles'. put 12 candles around leading to the bedroom. under each candle, write a memory u have from that specific year of marriage. ex: year 1 - we did __________ the first time, love u. .... all the way to year 11. put candle #12 in the bedroom and the note saying something like 'cant wait to make a new memory etc" and b standing there waiting for him :o)

Sometimes folks go to crazy with gifts for things. Try keeping it simple. How about a day walking in the park talking about the day and place you met. Then go for coffee somewhere romantic and hold hands. Me and my wife go back to the place wwe met and sit in the chairs and talk about the past. Man I am so lucky.
