I read on wrestlezone.com that SD is going to get a new GM. It will be none other than Vickie Guerruro. If u recall the promo she cut in an interview with Krystal last month, the opportunity she was talking about was being GM. She holds Teddy Long responsible for everything that has happened to her so she want his position of power.

What a dissapointment. I appreciate the fact the Vince is keeping Vickie involved and helping to support her financially, but this role is not good for smackdown or WWE as a whole. Taker and Kane will be retiring soon. I honestly believe with the push that Kennedy is getting, he will be on raw. Who does that leave, Batista, Booker, Benoit and maybe Finlay. I think that would get old really fast. Unless Vince does a draft lottery.
I am personally tired of the Rey vs Chavo angle. They need to move on and let Eddie rest.
If they wanted to honor eddie and keep vickie involved, let rey and chavo be tag cahmps with vickie as their manager again. Only role for her in WWE.

If Vickie Guerruro becomes new GM I will not watch Smackdown. Teddy Long has made Smackdown bearable to watch because he stays out of the ring most of the time and he hasn't done the evil boss storyline which is old and tiring. Teddy Long does a good job with Smackdown.

Why would she hold Teddy Long responsible for what's happened to her?! Last I checked, Chavo wasn't doing her any favors for her "career"! And since Rey's absence, there's zero interest in whatever storyline she has! I'm sure there's a place for Vicki in the WWE, but GM of Smackdown?! NO WAY !

Is vince mcmahon this stupid to let vicki guerrero run smackdown? big mistake if this is true. besides does vicki know how to run a show?. i mean come on teddy long is the greatest gm today. and if vince does this then he just buried his company because the show will go down to the ground but on the other hand you never know how she will do. but i think she should stay away from wwe because wwe basically killed eddie.

if she takes over what will happen to teddy. he has done a great job he knows what we want, Vicky will try to be an other eric bishoff and if she does smackdown will loose ratings big time. I SAY KEEP TEDDY!
if teddy wants to leave give the position to some one like HHH or JBL or dusty rhodes or rowdy piper at least they wont be pushed around by vince.

Sorry Hbk jr - i can't see it.Vickie has absolutely no experience of running a prime brand like SD.She couldn't even run ECW - it's beyond her.Teddy is a former ref so he knows the score & can keep primadonnas like Booker in check .If Vickie gets it you know Rey will never get a title shot & chavo will get title match after match every week til he wins.Boring!

If she does become new gm that would probably make ecw's ratings higher than smackdowns. because vickie will run smackdown into the ground.
