You need to tell us what games you are trying to install. Saying "Any" game does not tell us anything because there are so many different types of games out there that could cause this type of issue.

Make sure you have all the updated drivers for your computer by going to compaq's website under support and drivers.

There's an incompatibility issue that you are having. If it's only with video games or graphic intense programs, I would start with the graphics card. If the games predate XP such as games for 98, 2000, or ME then you need to run the "compatibility wizard" to insure proper running of the programs. Outside of that it sound like a "Kernel32 error" which will require a complete re-install of Windows. Try the other two first before going to the last extreme. Also check for viruses too.

Sorry, it is the main important section in pick of progression, for my area, for laptops - pictures taking part in cards. at the instant, you could no longer swap out the pictures card on a computer. New notebooks now use ATI and NVidia computer pictures technologies, yet you nonetheless can no longer pass to the shop and purchase a card to alter it on your pc (optimistically, some day quickly??!! on account that i could pick to enhance mine to boot!) Sorry... Maggie B
