Well, I'm obviously a Zeppelin fan (i.e. Led Zep Babe)....though, I'm going to have to go with Pink Floyd for this one. I like Stairway to Heaven, but it's honestly not the best song I've ever heard. It's a little overrated....Zeppelin has done much better.

Comfortably Numb is not overrated, but gets the attention it deserves.

I truly like Comfortably Numb better, but Stairway to Heaven's a great solo, too.

Out of the two of those I would say Stairway to Heaven, hands down. Is it the best of all time ? maybe. But there are many artist that have and can produce great guitar solos : Hendrix , Clapton, Santana , Eddie Van Halen the list is endless..............

Led Zeppelin. But the solo from "Evil Hearted You" by Yardbirds is also great, though short.

Comfortably numb by far! There are so much gap between them that they can not be even compared to each other
