Any theories on the upcoming battle between Peter and Sylar on Heroes?

Good comments so far. It really threw me when I thought Peter was dead, but then someone yesterday reminded me about Hiro (from the future) noticing Peter's scar. Really helped my disposition. I have always maintained that Claire, Peter and Micah are the 3 who are the keys to defeating Sylar: Peter because his power is similar without being as destructive; Claire because she's indestructible; and Micah because like Sylar, he "sees how things work", but without the evil. Actually, now I've got 7 weeks to worry about this. You're right about Peter's mother, she probably does have powers. And the more I watch, the more I think the powers are inherited, at least that's the way they seem to be going. Family groups. But aren't you going to love Claire finding out that Peter's her uncle. That alone will be worth the wait.

Sylar was stupid for just taking the powers of just those he came across thanks to the Suresh List. He should have waited to find someone like Peter and then taken his power alone. With the ability to copy and recall all powers you ever come into contact with he would have no equal, simply copy those who are against you and mop the floor with them. Control is going to play a factor in who wins. Peter is learning to control the other powers, Sylar will probably overload himself.

Isn't it exciting! My theories? Peter WILL survive, but his hair won't. I know they were having continuity problems with his hairstyle so I expect it to change drastically. Claire and Peter WILL reunite in some way as they are related. Peter and Nathan's mom has a power. Hmmmm...I'll have to think of some more. I think this season will end the whole storyline of the city blowing up. Next season will be a whole new storyline---just like any good comic.
